About Bon
Bon Scott is a trans non-binary queer person who started at One City in 2023 as an Administrative Support Staff. They have since worked as Office Manager and currently are the Human Resources Manager. They bring a passion for health & safety, making the workplace as equitable as possible through clear policy, and love to support staff with employment and benefits questions. Bon has a Landscape Technician diploma from Humber College and was awarded the Governor General’s Academic Medal upon graduation. They worked in the City of Toronto’s Parks & Recreation department for several years before moving back to Peterborough during the pandemic. They completed their Bachelor of Arts at Trent University, are a poet, writer, and artist, when they make the time for it. Most of all, they love to be in their garden with their partner, growing food, composting, and designing and building outdoor projects.
