About Cheyenne

Cheyenne Buck was born and raised in Peterborough and cares about the wellbeing of her community deeply!  After completing a diploma in Community and Justice Services at Sir Sandford Fleming, she went on to complete an honours degree in Sociology from Trent University. She completed a placement at HIV/AIDS Regional Services in Kingston Ontario, and continued on to volunteer as a board member at PARN (Peterborough AIDS Resource Network) as well as with the fundraising team and peer support programming at the Kawartha Sexual Assault Centre. She also worked at the YES Shelter before landing a job at One Roof Community Centre in 2020. She developed a passion for helping folks meet their basic needs, such as food, shelter, care and compassion.

When One Roof closed, she was very excited to move on to work with the One City Peterborough Trinity Hub, and has continued to build relationships with the folks in the community ever since! In 2024, she was honoured with the Woman of Impact award as well as the Rebel with a Cause award. She finds joy in sharing music with the guests of the Trinity Hub and finding the light in the hard moments.

When not at the Trinity Hub, Cheyenne can be found walking her two dogs or singing and playing the flute with her band Babe Chorus.
