About Jay

Jay joined One City in 2023, looking to put their energy and wide-ranging skill set toward helping their community rather than generating profit. They started as an Employment Facilitator before moving into their current role as Property Maintenance Coordinator, where the three raccoons in a trench coat masquerading as a human continue their charade unnoticed. 

A backstage theatre kid at heart, Jay studied Technical Theatre Production and Advanced Special Effects at Sheridan College. Since then, they’ve taken a winding path through stage and screen, kitchens, airplane hangars, hospitals, and small business ownership, picking up an impressive collection of MacGyver-esque skills that now come in handy keeping One City’s spaces running.

Outside of work, Jay can usually be found admiring moss, mushrooms, and funny-looking trees, collecting cool rocks, contemplating the universe, or sharing an unsolicited fun fact.
