Jenny Kennedy

About Jenny

Jenny started her work with One City as an Outreach worker in 2019 and then went on to run the Residential Cleaning, Street Clean and Green Team employment programs (2020-23) as well as the Circles of Support and Accountability program (2023-25) before landing in her current role as Community Development Coordinator. She comes from a Science (BSc - Trent University) and Education (BEd - York University) background, and was raised in a family of artists. She is a middle child and an Enneagram 9 and prefers when someone else decides what’s for dinner, but she can step into leadership roles with confidence when needed. 

As Community Development Coordinator Jenny has found a way to merge her love of people, her facilitation skills, and her artistic inclinations. This work allows her to practice connection, creativity, care, and gratitude in community with so many people; and people are her favourite thing. She aspires to always be learning from her colleagues, community members and partnerships, from the books she loves to buy (and eventually read), from her flower garden, and from her beloved circle of family and friends.
