About the Event
Course Description
Too often we find ourselves isolated and stuck with the feelings that surround loss and grief. Whether personal or collective grief, it can be difficult to know when, where, how and with whom to process and share. In this two-part workshop, you are invited to practice a collaborative and communal expression of grief. With the careful facilitation of retired Expressive Art Therapist, Brian Nichols, and practicing Music Therapist, Alli Pfaff, you will try out ways of expressing grief through art-making, music and sound-making, play, and connection.
The goal of these sessions is to provide an opportunity to come together and practice moving our grief, finding new homes for it outside of ourselves in community with others. Our hope is you will take this practice with you and continue to create and find spaces where grief can be shared and expressed with others.Â
